I work with couples and individuals caught in dysfunctional patterns of relating.
I have advanced training in the Developmental Model (Bader/Pearson), and use Emotion Focused Therapy and the Gottman methods. I welcome LGBTQ+, polyamorous, multicultural, interracial, and interfaith couples to my practice. I am also a sex therapy provider, and have received specialized training in treatment for sexual issues. Using an integrative approach, I tailor interventions to help people create more joyful and resilient relationships.
In addition to relational work, I also provide generalized support for clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I focus on the mind-body connection and use somatic methods, which include Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing. Bridging the mind and body, I’m honored to witness increases in self-trust, embodiment and self-acceptance in my clients.
I believe therapy helps us discover patterns which we may be repeating unconsciously, and find a through line to our own internal resources for healing. This increased awareness allows for new choices and expanded possibilities.
